John Lander, Malta Study Circle President and Hon. Life Member

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that John passed away peacefully on Fri. 19 April. It is hoped that details of the funeral and memorial service can be posted on the web-site. (It should be under news for members only.) The news only arrived when this edition of Melita was ready to go to print. I hope we can pay fitting tribute to John in the next edition. I would welcome any anecdotes or philatelic gems about John from members for inclusion.
